What's New?

I have not been spending much time on the computer lately or even in the house. I have no idea what's going on out in blog land.

Kevin's orthodontist appointment went well. He needs to have some baby teeth pulled to make room for his adult teeth. Our dentist can do that so he doesn't have to see the orthodontist again for a year. He will also have spacers put in to keep the space open until his permanent teeth come through.

Our garden is doing way better than last year. We have 6 rows of beets that our growing like crazy and 12 rows of beans. We've already harvested our spinach and it's waiting to be chopped up and frozen. Carrots and parsnips are doing great to.

We're almost done school but not quite. July 18 will be our last day and we'll probably start again in mid August. Jessica is finished pre-school and will not return next year but will still go to the school to see the speech therapist a few times a week. I guess the rest of us will get to use the library alot while she is in therapy. She has come a long way but still has a severe speech delay.

Jessica has started reading and is doing great. She was a little sad at first because she thought that meant I would stop reading to her. Now she's much better and is learning a new letter every week and has a new book to read each week.

I got new rollerblades!! After I skinned my knee (which has healed up nicely but is still sore and pink. At least the new scar is covering up an old one) Peter insisted I get new blades and pads. I have been going to a park that has paved trail around it in the evenings to rollerblade. I love it and my stamina is improving fast too. Of course though I am having asthma attacks now that I'm a little more active so I've had to get a new inhaler.

Our web filter has decided that photobucket is a nudity website and I can no longer use it. I can't see any pictures on my blog and I can't access my account anymore. I don't like uploading pictures with blogger but I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any suggestions? I have thought about switching to wordpress. For anyone who uses it how do you like it?

I am babysitting right now and my neighbours kids are over playing so I have 9 kids in my house. Lots of fun and lots of noise. Some of them are running out the door now so I'm going to have to go.

I'll try and post more later. Sorry for the point form but my brain is still sleeping. I didn't get much sleep last night in the bottom bunk of the girls bed:)
