The last picture in my 'Indoor Blooms' post is an avocado seed. We have a few of them sprouting and the one in the picture is quite a bit bigger now. We won't get fruit from it in this climate but (we've heard) they make nice house plants.

Here's a few more pics I wanted to share earlier but didn't have time.

This is a miniature model of stonehenge that I picked up at Chapters. We recently read about stonehenge in our school studies and couldn't resist when I saw this little model.

Also from Chapters, this is a model of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. We also read about this recently. The seeds should sprout in about two weeks.

I have more to share from Kevin's birthday yesterday but I need to get pictures off my camera. Check again soon, I'll probably post tonight or tomorrow.
